The ability to provide an excellent early childhood education for families in the Ann Arbor area is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

More about me

I have been affiliated with The Discovery Center since it was founded in 1974 by my wife, Jacki. I provide overall leadership guidance to the center and try to stay out of the way of the work of the excellent teaching and administrative staff. While staying out of the way, I work as an operations researcher, conducting health systems research for a local non-profit research institute. In my free time, I enjoy eating, hiking and bicycling (to compensate for the eating), traveling, and playing the clarinet in local community bands. My daughter Kathryn is a 1991 graduate of The Discovery Center, and my 3 grandchildren also attended the center.
