I love the strong relationships I have built with students and families. I love seeing students smile and receiving hugs every day as I watch them grow and learn.

More about me

In 2009 I began my tenure at The Discovery Center as a key teacher in Red Room. In 2012 I became the head teacher in Blue Room. I started my new position as director, July 1, 2024. Before coming to The Discovery Center, I was a teacher and director for 12 years at Shepherd of the Lakes in Brighton.

I have been married since 1994 and have 2 adult children. In my spare time I enjoy reading. During the summer months I love boating on the chain of lakes in Pinckney.
