Why I love working at TDC

I love the environment and kindness at TDC. I love watching the kids grow every day, playing games with them, and hearing about their days.

I loved my monkey stuffed animal.

Funniest/most memorable thing one of our students has said

There is another Assistant Teacher named Mya at TDC. A student asked me what my middle name was when I first started working at the center. They still call me by my middle name!

More about me

I started at TDC the end of January, 2025. I love it here! I have met so many kids in the different classrooms and have created special bonds with each of them. I’m in school full time and enjoy being able to implement what I’m learning into the classrooms at TDC.
